The True Blood has received critical acclaim and won several awards, including one Golden Globe and an Emmy. Series creator Alan Ball had previously worked with the cable channel HBO on Six Feet Under, which ran for five seasons. This season, Eric, as the sheriff of Area 5, tries to bust up Marnie’s coven but runs into trouble and unwittingly upends the dynamics of his personal relationships, with Sookie in particular. it's the best season finale in the show's history. We've been left with so many unanswered questions and so many juicy cliffhangers. The DVD extras are pretty good, the quality and the service.
In fact, I prefer the books but the DVD are also very good, you can try it!
The show is perfect in the pilot episode, the acting, and the effort the cast and crew put into characterization and detail. And I would like to keep the DVDs.
